Protect Kentucky
The Kentucky Professional Fire Fighters (KPFF) is the statewide organization representing 45 firefighter and EMS unions and over 2,500 members throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As an affiliate of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), we are committed to advancing the interests of professional firefighters and emergency medical service workers.
KPFF locals provide fire and EMS service to over 2.25 million Kentuckians — more than half the population of the Commonwealth.
Our mission encompasses legislative advocacy, collective bargaining support, health and safety initiatives, educational scholarships, and community engagement. We believe that by standing together, Kentucky's fire service professionals can achieve the working conditions, compensation, and respect they deserve.
